Ferrites or output chokes may be used in combination with mains filters to reduce electromagnetic interference.
They are especially effective when the disturbances radiated by the cable to the motor causing interference in control systems, data lines, radios, TV, etc. The correct installation of chokes in the output cable to the motor can solve these problems.
